Elevating the Space with Sophistication and Practicality
Our client sought to enhance her kitchen and dining rooms with luxurious drapery side panels, sheers, and sleek acrylic rods that would add elegance without overwhelming the space. After exploring multiple fabric and hardware options, she selected Horizon Window Fashions‘ premium Dapper Cloud fabric. The fabric’s white, rain-repellant privacy liner in the kitchen not only added an extra layer of functionality but also beautifully complemented the light, airy feel she wanted for the space.
The drapery was designed with Euro Pleats (Crown Pleats) and a weighted bead hem at the bottom, which ensured that the pleats remained perfectly formed and stationary, adding a touch of refinement to the design. The sheers, equally elegant, were crafted with the same pleating style and a weighted hem bar. While unlined for a softer look, the sheers provided the right balance of privacy and a gentle view of the outdoors, just as the client envisioned.
To finish off the design, the client chose satin brushed gold hardware for a timeless, sophisticated touch. Paired with Byron & Byron acrylic rods and custom acrylic corner connectors, this hardware brought a modern flair to the space while ensuring longevity.

These connectors allowed for a continuous 1 1/2″ acrylic rod that smoothly bent around both inside corners. The custom rod gave the room a seamless, flowing design, enhancing the entire space with its understated elegance.
